*Weird* tarot reading.

BlueIris no likey. All I was focusing on was myself and my own situation. Those are different cards than have been coming up for me lately. The placement of the Justice, King of Cups and Queen of Swords make me wonder if it could have anything to do with my thoughts about Bush and the indictments. I just--if those cards are supposed to be for me--they're weird. Don't like 'em.

1. I don't generally follow

the tarot readings in this forum - only have a limited amount of time so I can only focus mostly on the latest news but I always come check in here for interesting stuff. But I've done the cards over the years - and I don't see it as being that bad - although I have no idea what your situation is.

I see 7 Pentacles as having planted the seeds for the future.
9 of Swords is sadness, depression, perhaps an illness - or worry.
6 of Wands (if I am remembering correctly) is victory (although a minor arcadia card - not the Chariot - major arcania)
2 of wands is to me a choice to be made
Judgement is a major surprise or reawakening
and the Queen of Spades I see as the "widow" -

You had King of Hearts in your past - so don't know if you're married or if that was an old flame or what not - but I get the 9 of Spades, 3 of Spades & 10 of Spades & the Queen of Spades frequently - and it is not necessarily a bad thing - remember the cards only read a little ahead into the future depending on how often you do them. So looks like to me you'll have a choice - you'll be surprised, and you might be alone temporarily - but again, not necessarily a bad thing. Maybe you need to be alone for a bit - for growth or rest or what not.

2. Good thoughts, this is one of those readings that just really confused me.

I'm already alone. The "King of Cups," whomever he represented, is LONG gone. It'd be nice if I felt like the seeds were things I planted, but--I'm still wondering if this reading is more about external events and my feelings about them. Not necessarily political, but none of this feels like my life.

except that I've learned is no matter what you are asking, what ever is most prevelant on your mind is what comes up, not necessarily the question you are asking. But again, I would say not to worry too much, it's not all that bad.

Now that I've had a couple of days, and some new information, I--think I get what this reading was supposed to communicate to me. Don't worry, fellow posters, (and especially fellow progressives) it means good news for us. Just--weird news for me. And surprised? I'm floored. I think I will be taking that "alone" time (well, in a sense, mostly intellectual, I'll be alone) now. Actually, I keep hoping that the new information is wrong somehow. I feel there could still be a great chance that I don't understand it fully. I hope I don't. It means changing things in my life that I didn't think needed to be changed. At all. And please, no one lecture me about needing to "accept change"--I know that I need to do that, everyone does. But in my life, sometimes the rush to "accept" change like a good...er, changer, has led me to rush through important decisions or make hasty or ill-advised ones. Just because something is a change or opportunity doesn't mean it's a good or the right one.
