Saturn is holding our noses to the grindstone, all summer
Saturn is traveling opposite the other 10 "planets" for a good bit of the summer. This is known as a bucket pattern with Saturn serving as the handle. Other planets will temporarily pass through and break up his mesmerizing effect.

For the most part, Saturn is at 10 degrees of Libra affecting all signs, especially people with planets or angles at 10 degrees Cardinal.

Translation: It's holding our noses to the grindstone and saying, "get it done!" Find your extra reserves. Do what you have to do, there's no skipping out with the TaskMaster. It will be worth it in the end. By the way: don't avoid the dentist during this time.

Saturn WILL help you if you help yourself, it will. Best of luck to all: :grouphug:

1. That's my ascendant
My ascendant is 10 degrees of Libra, so Saturn is apparently sitting on it.

Uh-oh, got to go. Saturn wants me to get back to work.

It's YOU telling the world "I'm going to WORK as I am, here I am, don't anyone try to change me! " Saturn has a great side! too

I was *just* thinking this morning...

"okay, it's gonna be June 1...six months past my Bday, I have GOT to get ON it and stop these bad health habits... "

I have been really upset by the last few pics friends have posted on FB because I can't BELIEVE how big i have gotten, i still feel and see myself as my normal size. Not to mention, female health stuff that needs to be addressed and may be partly responsible for the weight gain. ...But I can't do anything about any of it till i stop abusing my body by smoking and drinking like a teenager.

so how to channel my goodly saturn influences to make this happen?

if I am going to have surgery by july, i guess it's a good time to start now in detox and cleansing
But what sucks is that every morning i wake up with a new resolve to get back on track, but by evening i am in the same place as always...beer or wine in hand, smoking and watching tv. hypnotized, CHOOSING to 'zone out'

Is there some kind of 'magic bullet' to channel at this time to have saturn the taskmaster help me get straightened out?

lol
ya, i know, stupid question

14. No, it's NOT a stupid question
Saturn will simply continue to be a pain in the ass (your ruling planet, I might add) until you get tired of slamming your head against the curb. That's how it works. Good luck

32. I feel your pain!
Something snapped in me on May 2, I woke up and decided I was going to lose weight. So I got a nifty little app on my phone that counts every calorie I eat and every calorie I burn and makes sure I end up netting only 1500 a day.

And I haven't given up drinking - I just have to count those calories :)

Eleven pounds so far and that includes a trip to NYC (with dining abandon) and a cheat breakfast every Sunday morning!

33. apps can be so useful for health improvements
I use an app to keep track of miles when I run or walk in the morning. It's been a great help by letting me know when/if I achieve my goal every day.

3. Damn Rick.
It is Totally unsurprising to me that EVERY warning you gave me in your astrology reading as come to be. LOL!
I'm still healing from the pinched nerve in my back (which you warned about)which is taking longer because I keep trying to get my home and garden in order which in turn re aggravates the pinched nerve.AAAARRRRGGGGGGG!!!

I HATE LIMITATIONS!!!!!! Temperance SUCKS!!!

Oh Please go away dear Saturn or can I pretty please get a prescription filled for volume????.....er ...Ah ..strictly for medicinal purposes....Hey Fun is very medicinal.

4. lol...i like that
But asking old man saturn "pretty please" is about as futile as asking the mountain to stop being so, well, mountainous...
;)

But I am with you...i could use a prescription for Ease... but I think those days are both way behind us and further ahead. We have some climbing to do yet. grrr
BTW I have issues with both saturn and libra, cap sun and libra moon and rising, so I know how you feel!

26. Pain is dibilitating and after the root cause if found
then steps need to be taken for the healing. Don't forget the ice!!! 20 minutes of icing 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 times a day is very helpful. My "drug therapy" is an 800 mil ibuprofen and a glass of wine in the evening, maybe a hot tub, but definitely an ice pack.
 but not too tight!

15. You hate limitations, huh?
Do you want to work a 24-hour day?
Do you want endless cavities?
Do you want an electric bill for $40,000?
Do you want your neighbor using your property?

you see, we NEED Saturnian limitations. It doesn't work via LIMITATIONS, it works by TRYING TO MAKE SURE. It's that simple.
Make sure

21. So, I finished the revisions on one book about a week ago
I was trying to take a breather before plunging into queries and writing another book. I was TRYING.

There is a voice in my ear. "Now. Now. Now. NOW. Get busy. NOW!"

Is this what you're talking about?

22. In your case, according to your chart
I think it is Saturn. One can feel it impelling us toward getting a job finished. I know since it's been on me, my Sun is at 10 Capricorn, I've been feeling obsessed with finishing my work.

It's never straightforward. Uranus is also within 5 MINUTES of squaring your Moon. That will also give you a great sense of urgency. The way to tell the diffence is:

Saturn: "get it done, finish it, make sure it's right"
Uranus: "get this thing off of your back so you can be free to do other things"

You're probably getting mixed signals of both of them at the same time! good luck

23. Well, now.. I think I understand with this last post..
That's exactly what I've been feeling...that I have this list of things to do and I want the info immediately and to make sure it is accurate. Now, WHEN the stuff is done, does Saturn have some kind of reward system.... or is that how my friend, Uranus, is going to push things ahead?

24. Funny, that
Or maybe not so odd, after all--just this past week I have been staying up till all hours to finally get my friggin' novel DONE. I mean DONE DONE, not just kind of done. And yet I refrain from compiling it into a final version ready for submission (I'm an optimist) because I'm constantly thinking "Oh crap--what about that little detail? Did I clear it up? Better revise that bit." And then "Aw darn it I totally forgot to rewrite that scene..." Etc. etc. etc.!

But I am closer than ever to getting this puppy out the door (to the query stage). I am being PUUUUUUSSSSHED! :hi:

25. In response, in general, quoting the Dalai Lama....
"Expecting results for good works in your lifetime is a kind of selfishness... You need to detach from that expectation and just do what it is you are doing... Every generation is a life and death struggle between wisdom and ignorance, and there are no guarantees that wisdom is going to win. We have to try to be as human as we can be, and as kind as we can be, and detach from our need for results."

It is for a cleaning, but I have a toothache. I put off seeing the dentist about the tooth pain because I am going in tomorrow.

My diet and exercise program are working, but I have slipped up with smoking. It is time to get back on track.

Thanks for the info!

36. I am feeling quite somber and serious.
This is different for me since my Gemini tendency is to not take serious stuff too seriously most of the time! I KNOW I have things to do and now is not the time to mess around, be frivilous or carefree or procrastinate....or else. It's very strange and different for me to feel like this.

And I guess it's time to make a dental appt., been putting it off too long. ;-)

38. Oh, Rick, say it isn't so
According to my friend who is studying vedic astrology, I have been under Saturn's influence for the past 20 years! This has resulted in many career ups and downs and massive health problems that I feel lucky to have survived. My career is now gone as I have had to claim disability. My friend says this has now ended and I have been encouraged by some recent health improvements. Is there any hope for me this summer, or will it drag on endlessly?

there is ABSOLUTELY no truth to the fact that SATURN IS SITTING On you for 20 years "causing all this hardship". That's not how it works and I should know because I am a double Capricorn with many Saturn squares. It's what you make of it. You either got bad info or twisted what was said to you and mixed in a lot of worry. I think. Best of luck to you.

Nothing "drags on endlessly" except our bad choices. IMHO

Edit: Re: "say it isn't so", please, reread my top post with no expectations, read what it says
