The Animals!
Anyone else noticing something up with their furry friends? My two dogs, who have led a completely sedentary life for about the past six years, and one of whom is on antihistimines that should be knocking him out, are running around and playing like puppies the past couple of days. What's up?

1. My dogs are playing more too
and barking. All night. :eyes:

I thought it was just their vitamins + advent of cooler weather making them more chipper. :)

2. Layla was NUTS during her class
Edited on Wed Nov-30-11 07:27 AM by get the red out
My dog, Layla, is a 19 month old herding dog mix (maybe BC, maybe Aussie, look below and your guess is as good as ours) and she's a bit on the active side anyway, but she was almost blasting off into space during her agility class Monday night. She couldn't stand to wait her turn and once she took her turn she would bolt around the arena like a rocket, even more out of control than usual.

Her classmates were pretty wild too! One dog decided all of a sudden that leaping the tunnel over and over would be better than simply going through. His owner kept trying to get him back to start over but he kept leaping.

3. Yes!
My cats are extra, extra frisky these past few days. I have one cat who is terrified of outside, and the past few days she has run out the door and done a loop around the patio before coming back in the house -- she's done this a few times a day. Really unusual behavior.

Rigby has decided she is NOT I repeat NOT House trained! :(
Peeing on the bed,the couch, newly Tie dyed shirts(That might just be her opinion though)
When I put her in her crate last night because she lost the privilege of being lose in the house because she pees on it. She raised quite a ruckus.
And the kitten Yop is a mad man!LOL!If He keeps going the way he's going he is going to be the only one out of three indoor cats that finds himself DECLAWED!!!!:banghead:

5. 10 year old Chaucer Kitty has been acting like a kitten lately.
Funny you should bring this up, Chaucer has been acting almost like a kitten lately. The vet put him on diet cat food a few weeks ago, and he's actually lost some weight with it. We had wondered if it was the new food, but the entire family has noticed a behavior change. He has actually been chasing his tail and running around like a kitten--making spectacular athletic jumps and racing from room to room. He's also been demanding affection more than usual.
