1. What you get
Edited on Mon Apr-11-05 01:36 PM by Mandate My Ass
A whole lot. I recently had my chart done by a professional and I learned a great deal about why certain situations in my life kept repeating and the how not only my sign, but which planets were in which houses at the time of my birth and how this affects my outlook, career, relationships etc. I found out some really interesting facts and the session was taped so I can go back and listen to it whenever I need a reminder or clarification.

You simply supply the exact date, time and location of your birth and you'll be amazed what you can learn about yourself from the pros. I highly recommend it; it was worthy every penny I paid. There are some pros here who can probably answer better than I can.

5. well

The pros who frequent this forum tend to not do indepth readings for individuals here but if you have a particular burning question or dilemma some of us are usually happy to take a look in terms of the current or pending influences to your chart.

Understand that a chart is as vast as a life. I've been looking at mine for eons and still can perceive certain aspects in a myriad of ways that I may or may not have recognized before. You could go to many astrologers and they would all offer different perspectives of your chart because we all have different orientations.

There is the natal (birth) chart, but just as your life grows and evolves, so does your chart based on both transits and progressions. So the natal chart is kind of a blueprint for your life and the transits and progressions help individuals with the likely timing of events or resolution of issues.

Beyond that a decent astrologer can see attributes, obstacles, emotional wiring, tastes, opportunities, style of communication, values, opportunities, hardships, degree of commitment, attitudes towards wuthority figures, work ethic, flakiness, flirtatiousness, foolishness, . . .the list is really infinite.

So ask away. . .

6. Two issues I guess
My work life is in flux. I feel stalled.

The other would be the love/romance department. I'm about as gun-shy as a person can be. Am I hopeless?

7. Saturn is
transiting your first house and has been doing so since last June. So that influence generally compels a person to reassess just what it is that they want to commit themself to, and what their priorities are for the next 28 or so years. It can sometimes be a somewhat grueling process of elimination until greater self awareness and certainty inevitably comes. Regardless of age it's like Saturn is saying . . ."Young lady. . .this is what you're not, this is what your not, this is what your not. . .", until you get to an affirmation of "YES !!! This is what I am." It's all about redefinition of the boundaries of self. Saturn squared your Mars last September and will do so again in May and that can frustrate one's will but you're in the home stretch. Those influences can create issues with authority figures and can challenge one to redefine their source of motivation. The upshot is that Saturn will then conjoin your Jupitier and that can simplify these matters and sometimes creates opportunities for improvement or advancement.

Also your porgressed Saturn moved from Pisces to Aries a while back and that often represents a shift in career or values. But it's still transitional and can feel like "one foot on the banana peel." Wohhhhhh. That's settle down shortly.

I've got to go somewhere so I'll address the latter part of your query when I get back. Please don't misconstrue my failure to do so now as suggesting that you're at all hopeless. Quite to the contrary in fact. I just want to do a half way decent interpretation and if I rush I won't.

9. gun shy =self preservation

Nothing at all wrong with being a bit "gun shy" at this juncture. It can be a jungle out there right now. Sheesh.

You have a Leo Moon (ruling your emotional wiring) that is very playful and has one of the better senses of humor one can buy. You were born approximately 18 hours after a full Moon. Though the Moon was waning it would still qualify as a full Moon dynamic. People born under full Moons (especially in fixed signs as is yours) are generally fairly intense. They're always noticed when they walk into the room. When one is born under this dynamic they can often be misunderstood as they are drawing from two entirely different polarities.

Your Venus is in Aquarius which really adores interacting with a wide array of people from various walks of life and socioeconomic strata and backgrounds. It's very flirtatious as well and can relish in being a "social flutterby." One of my favorite quotations from someone with Venus in an air sign was rather graphic regarding committed relationships. She said, "I just think that I'll probably always want to pee in the other pasture." It truly tends to like maintaining options though.

Your Mars is in Libra and, in as much as everyone should ideally with someone who is their equal on all four planes (spiritual, intellectual, emotional, & physical), take that statement and multiply it by about 10,000 for people with various placements in Libra. Anything less is a recipe for disaster.

So basically you're looking for someone as complex and dynamic as yourself.

Luckily once you get past this early summer, Jupiter will be on your Mars by late September through early October. You know how sometimes it feels like you can't meet anyone but bozos and undesirable lunch dates, and other times interesting people are just coming out of the woodwork? Well this influence would be akin to the latter. So just don't settle until then. That does not necessarily mean that you will be alone till then.

Also with both Capricorn and Aquarius ruling your descendant, having to do with relationships, you're probably drawn to a peculiar mix of traditional and eccentric energies.

Understand that a person can be under the most fortuitous (that Saturn/Jupiter aspect mentioned in the earlier post would qualify as a potential goodie as well) or most restrictive aspects for meeting someone but if they have a certain orientation, magic can happen at any time. Conversely, under wondrous aspects with a ba-a-ad attitude, one can be three feet away from the most appropriate person on the planet and all they'll notice is pigeon shit on their shoes (which is hardly a serious character flaw.) It's weird like that.

Just own the fact that you fundamentally have an incredibly harmonious aspect between your Mars and Venus. Look for someone who's basically a happy, integrated, funny, and intelligent. They aren't exactly a dime a dozen if you haven't noticed.

Have fun. Aaaaand you officially owe me a glass of wine in Boston for this one girl. Half kidding here.

I typically don't do this here at all. Your inquiry seemed really sincere though.

I will buy you that glass of wine, for sure.

Now if you could only provide me with a specific name, it would make things so much easier. lol

10. You are lucky!
My mum couldn't remember the time I was born, so I don't know, and have never been able to get a chart done.
