1. And to you, Kitchie!
It's a gorgeous Halloween day here and won't be too cold tonight for our wee revelers--even though we had snow two days ago. LOL! Hope everyone has a great Halloween/Samhain/New Year! :hi: :grouphug:

I work with a Pagan lady who is gloriously celebrating today. I'm sharing the board's wishes with her. Thanks for posting!

I just ate a half a bite sized Milky Way in honor of this outragiously auspicious holiday.

I rarely eat sweets.

Had an incredibly rough week.

Dumb misunderstandings with my most recent beau.

At least I'm not calling this one "pseudo."

I'm celebrating this holiday by adorning myself with a T shirt that was gifted to me many Moons ago.

A dear friend's lover was wearing it. I saw it and noticed it's Grateful Dead-ish appeal.

It's from a graveyard rubbing. It has a skeleton with a rose crown and a caption that reads, "Death. The mirror which flatters not."

I told him I thought it was cool.

He literally gave it to me off his back.

Ahhh. . .His cousin is a the most whip smart Senator there is IMHO.

I've worn it every Halloween ever since he gave it to me/ often with my countess coat, which is from the '20's which has 3/4 length sleeves, is 3/4 length, and is made of royal blue silk chiffon velvet. Wearing a T shirt with black Velvet leggings and a fancy coat is sort of like eating baked potato and caviar, really. I often worn 3/4 length white gloves from the 40's as well. Not quite cold enough for that though.

Otherwise, I've been suffering a writer's block with Pluto squaring my Mercury. I feel I've got to write another prayer thread.

The energy was hovering the other night though..

My new beau has been intolerant of that particular urge.

Helderheid has been wonderfully amazing and consistent and supportive. . .

I'd been wondering when to post this in terms of the early voting and all.

She was wonderfully proactive and amazingly provided a remedy.

Wickfordbard said today that we often derive things from our women friends that we can never expect from guys (paraphrasing).

I think she may be right. She also quoted my eldest god daughter. She is the best as are you all.

Luv to you all & trick or treat.

You luvs cannot be beat.

Best to you all.

Peace on.

13. One can only truly hope.
I've been without running water for a month due to a plumbing problem

The plumber funnily walked up my stairs and said, "Hi honey, I'm home." I'd only met him once.

I *love* Yankee humor. I told him I was about to turn Hindi so I could carry a vase on my head. I've no right to complain since the Iraqi's have undergone such long term indignities.

He may have fixed the problem, Keeping my toes fixed. Yikes.

I tried to make all sorts of "Joe the Plumber Jokes" with him but alas, he was marginaly informed,

OH well.
