The intricate pattern comes after the discovery of a 600ft jellyfish crop circle in Oxfordshire.

Crop circle enthusiasts claim the succession of animal designs have been created in an attempt make people more aware of the threat of climate change and predict they could continue throughout the summer.

Steve Alexander, a crop circle fanatic, from Gosport, Hampshire, said: "Some years you do get themes developing and often you are looking for why this happens.

"It could be to reflect the status of the world at the moment with its financial, political and more importantly, environmental problems.

"I imagine this will not be the last one we will see this summer and it has already been a busy summer for spotting them as they are well ahead of schedule."

In past years the crop circle season has typically run from July to August but already four have been found in barley fields stretching from Wiltshire to Oxfordshire this year.

They have been found across the ancient 'ley lines' - believed to have mystical qualities.

2. New one from today (6/8)

Center trefoil echoes a recent one in the UK and a recent one in Germany.

Germany:

Not a great photo so here's the diagram of the German circle:

4. I suspect that humans made the second one.
I say this because the circle in the bottom left is not the same as the other two. Each circle has two lines through it. the circle that ties them all together is the outer line in the other two, but it's the inner line in that one.

That's the type of thing that I think would happen in people were making them in the middle of the night. (Just my opinion; of course, I could be wrong.)

What do you think, MG?

5. This has happened in a number of crop circles, where there is an asymmetric aspect
within. However, mathematicians and physicists examining the so called discrepancy reveal that it appears deliberate from a mathematical perspective. For example one such apparently off center diagram perfectly spelled out the number PI mathematically.

Would be impossible for humans to do this at night without very sophisticate measuring instruments and night vision gear.

The asymmetry is therefor scrutinized with interest.

6. The triple circle in the UK?
If so, can you explain again? I'm confusing myself.

With that one, I was just fascinated by the swirls in different directions.

Honestly, I was more inclined to think the fishies one was manmade because the fish were so simplistic!

8. I think you might mean the tram lines?
These are common in the UK.
They are the lanes that farmers in the UK use
to take care of their crops. It is not part of the crop
circle, though sometimes whoever is making the circle
cleverly incorporates them into the design...

9. anyone else notice the recurrance of the # 21?
'21' seems to be in several recent designs.

in the fish one, it's 3 x 7 bubbles between each fish head... 21

"So long, and thanks for all the fish..."

10. Good catch
Those seven descending circles have made repeated appearances lately. I was taking them to mean the seven chakras, but they could be something else entirely--or something else in addition to that...?

"So long, and thanks for all the fish" indeed. (SIGH I loved Douglas Adams. Such a nice guy (met him once). :loveya:) Didn't Matthew say something recently about the dolphins and whales? Must go back and look it up...

13. This is very important in most crop circles.... the recurring math themes....
The math professors have a ball sorting it all out...

7. Sacred triskele

One of my favorite symbols! :D

One representation: earth/water/sky. Got dragonflies (sky) and fish (water, jellyfish). Will an earth symbol be coming next?

11. I remember reading somewhere that most of the crop circles
are along ley lines, as stated, and immediately thought of the Nazca Lines. Nobody's ever quite discovered whose responsible for those, and they too are supposedly along ley lines. I've also read that birds can read ley lines and is how they direct flight and never "lose" their way.

The correlations are all interesting, maybe one day we'll understand.

12. PC clairvoyantly sees Earth wrapped in an energy grid.
This grid consists of lines that run south and north,
and east and west across the globe. It is quite beautiful to
see. Picture a dark planet, at night, with a huge bright electric
light grid surrounding the planet. Wondrous.

This is how energy reaches Earth from various sources.
Energy from elsewhere hits the grid, the grid distributes
the energy to the entire planet....
This grid is connected in some way to the ley lines... or perhaps
are the ley lines...

They are like Earth's meridian lines....like in acupuncture...
One PC member dreams about these lines and works with them in some way.
This member states that these energy lines don't always run smoothly
and there are entities whose job it is to clear the lines and assist
with smooth energy flow.

It is felt that the energy coming to earth has been compromised
in the past by something or someone. This has now changed.
All systems are open and operating much better.

17. More pictures. These were done in rapeseed fields rather
than in barley or oats. I am wondering about the significance of the placement of the crop circles, other than having to do with ley lines.
