If this isn't true. All this "warrior power" has come so close already. All our thinking is along the lines of warriors right now and has been for so much of history.

I am really amazed we have made it this far.

In reading the article linked to on DU the other day regarding the huge numbers of "missing" women in Asia, women that should exist by statistics but don't; I really wondered if humanity had any hope at all. That and the worship of guns and torture here in the US.

We need this change. Give women an equal voice and they won't so quickly send their sons to kill other's sons in useless war.

8. The century of women will happen.

We can see the beginnings of the new era.
More women graduating from colleges and going to professional
schools than males.

And look at Hillary and Michelle O.
The new female emerges. Pretty, feminine, smart, strong mothers,
and tough as nails when need be.

Obama is the new male who is very open to female power, cherishes and respects it. Not threatened by it and likes partnering with female energy. Female energy: tough and strong, but nurturing and intuitive at the same time.

Energetically Obama actually is a very strong combination of male and female energy himself. He adores us, the people, like a mother would. His heart does break when we hurt.
Deep down he is furious at how we have been treated. That drives him every day.

I remember reading essays by Daisaku Ikeda, a Buddhist teacher and leader who has said for years that this will be the century of women. I think that's pretty cool, how forward thinking that was (same on GLBT rights; ahead of the times)

online that I've heard ever talk about Daisaku Ikeda. Isn't he another inspiration?

I especially like his elucidations of the Lotus Sutra and Nichiren's writings.

Quite some years ago, maybe 7? Give or take?, he wrote a congratulatory message to the GLBT group for a big meeting they were having, and he said something to the effect of using the challenges they encounter as part of their orientation to become great examples of a great life--- to aim for having the happiest careers, the happiest relationships...to become the kind of people that others go to to learn how they can have such successfull relationships.... That really brought a tear to my eye. He was saying this at a time when no other public figure even considered that "alternative" relationships could possibly be respected, let alone be real.

12. Dr. Page is an intuitive also, and has stated that the struggles we

are all going through is, as PC seems to also indicate, necessary to the transformation we are going through, becoming more and more renewed in the once dormant feminine energies, the nurturer, doing what is morally appropriate and returning to the wisdom of unity and compassion for all. Knowing that we are all connected, and that the path to wholeness on all levels is through understanding humanity is better served honoring all, respecting life and placing the greatest value on spiritual sustenance (vs. making money), finding our life's passion and using our gifts to enrich the whole.

I am very much looking forward to her 2nd interview. This is what I feel 2012 is about, the transformation, renewal of wisdom, nurturing the soul and by doing that, healing on a wide scale. It can't happen soon enough IMHO.

I have to watch my despair at the state of women throughout the world. It is good to have some hope to hang onto. It is an issue that grinds at my soul, I sometimes wonder how I can dare to be a reasonably happy "Western" woman while so many of my sisters suffer in virtual slavery in other parts of the world.

I needed this hope!

I thought we had already done the matriarchal society thing before the patriarchial one. I was hoping we were going to finally get to balance at this time, not later.

but first women on this planet need to be treated like human beings. In many parts of the world they are still property, and have no basic rights or education etc...

There needs to be catch up time for women globally before equal partnership, women first need basic equal rights.

Women in the industrialized countries will assume leadership positions and help women every where.

Hillary is doing this as we speak....Michelle O as a woman of color gives hope to women world wide.....

This is such an exciting and wonderful time to be alive.
We witness history in the making every day.....
