Waking Life

I finally watched my dvd of this the other day. I'd seen it years ago on IFC, but was never quite in the right mood for it. Even this time around, there was so much to "digest" that I had to watch it in increments. I hope y'all are familiar with it because I don't want to spoil the movie if you've never seen it.

Richard Linklater, the man that gave us Slacker, made this rotoscoped movie about existence, dreams, life and death back in 2001. It's a brilliant study of all that kind of thought with some really creative animation styles throughout. Here's the imdb link if you want to read more: Waking Life

1. I enjoyed Waking Life, althoug it's been years since I watched it

Being from Texas I like to support our Artists. I also met Tommy Pallotta, he is one of the geniuses behind the animation (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0657921/bio) one of our friends introduced us back in 96 during the filming of The High Road.

I also know Richard Gordoa who was the Visual Supervisor for the film Scanner Darkly, which I also liked. Richard worked with hubby back in the 90's. Then he moved to NY and we lost touch. I wish I knew how to contact him. I would really love to talk to him.
