5. BAR is too sloppy and eats ammo too fast, IMHO
though zoomed in it is terrific, but not as good as the garand. However, the Kar totally kicks ass.

30. Yes, a kar is very handy in this game
though I like the enfield even more bc of the sights, I can hit as far as a sniper with it.

6. Good from cover, but
the Garand offers more mobility and is quicker when you need to swing from target to target. Plus, as I said before:

BANG! BANG! BANG! KTIIIING! :P

7. the M1 Garand is a stable weapon
but you cannot reload it between fire fights like you can the bar, and the rate of fire is slow enough and powerfull enough you can hold your own with it

3. The Biorifle (Unreal Tournament)
Why? Cause I have a quote about it.

"This weapon fires globs of biological material, which blow up after a few seconds, as all good biological material should. This really isn't useful for much, althogh I imagine it would help with an infestation of silverfish."

4. I loved the Rail Gun in Q3, too
On that one map with the bounce pads that is floating in space ... once you got up on that platform you could snipe, snipe, snipe ... the bots were so dumb, and everytime they hit the bounce pad across the map, they came down in exactly the same spot. I had so many 10-in-a-row and perfect medals, it wasn't even funny

Awesome machine gun but if you wanted, you could throw it on the floor or against the wall or ceiling and it became a sentry gun.

18. 2 from "Armed and Dangerous"
I must admit I've never played this game, but these two weapons almost made me. I love the concepts.

The Gravity Bomb

You drop this on the ground, grab its two hand grips, then activate it. Gravity in your surroundings reverses and your foes fall off the planet. What could be more fun than that?

The Landshark Gun

Maybe this. Target your foe and press the trigger. In seconds a huge fin appears and races to the target. Then a huge shark leaps from the earth and devours the target. Yumm!

What wacky, cool ideas. I've heard the game itself isn't that terrific, though.

19. Redeemer, baby!
Edited on Tue Mar-08-05 02:20 PM by slestak
From Unreal Tournament:

The first time you witness this miniature nuclear device in action, you'll agree it is the most powerful weapon in the Tournament. Launch a slow-moving but utterly devastating missile with the primary fire; but make sure you're out of the Redeemer's impressive blast radius before it impacts. The secondary fire allows you to guide the nuke yourself with a rocket's-eye view. Keep in mind, however, that you are vulnerable to attack when steering the Redeemer's projectile. Due to the extreme bulkiness of its ammo, the Redeemer is exhausted after a single shot.

27. I played that.
And it had some good weapons with different characteristics. I recall one I used to use to bounce grenades around corners before poking me head around.

But mostly I started using the sniper rifle for headshots. That was the best and easiest if you weren't in a hurry.

Cool game, and came across quite anime.

Everyone knows the best weapon in any video game is the Shoe in Super Mario Bros. 3. :P

A close second is Lulu's Onion Knight in Final Fantasy X. :P

35. Serge's GF had a frying pan in Chrono Cross
I'm totally blanking on her name. Mostly because 95% of that cast could have been cut from the game and it wouldn't have made a difference.

Giant purple dildo, though?! Do tell! I'm waiting for SA to get a bit cheaper on eBay before I pick it up (Broke Gamer's Disease).

36. ain't that the truth about chrono cross...
most of that game was dismissable.

but yes, there's a giant purple dildo (roughly a 12" possibly a 15") and one of the easier places to find it is in the port area, where cranes and stuff are. it's just like a small club, so it isn't all that overwhelming, but it screams style points. you can beat people to death with the dildo too. funny watching your gangsta dressed up all in ghetto mafia with bling bling and beating down some random dude with a 12"er. it jiggles a bit too, instead of completely stiff like a club, quite funny.

Best close quatrers weapon in BF:1942's Forgotten Hope mod. Just spray and pray.
