Finished X-Men Legends
Twice, actually, great game.

Looking for more games with that style. Preferably for the PS/2 (I've fallen in love with the controller).

1. I saw a preview box for Fantastic Four
Which looks almost exactly like X-Men: Legends.

Probably the same developers. I'm not sure when it's coming out though.

2. I'll check it out, thanks
I'm just starting Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

Not bad, although I've not played D&D since college.

7. Get Champions of Norrath instead
It's set in the Evercrap universe, but it's by the same developer as the Baldur's Gate console games and is better by leaps and bounds (and I liked the Baldur's Gate console games). It uses the same engine but does a lot more with it. Plus you can play with up to 4 people, which is nice if you've got a multitap. My BF and I have been having a blast together (tho' he gets mad I keep taking the good treasure :P).

The sequel is out, but I haven't played it yet. Everything I've heard about it says it's even better than the first one.

3. I did not care for that game...
I got it from Gamefly, played it for about fifteen minutes, and took it straight back to the mailbox.

I was pretty disappointed, because I had heard lots of good things about it. I thought the cutscenes were great, but the gameplay reminded me of an old NES beat-'em-up.

I may give it another chance someday, but I have too many other games in my queue to hang on to a game like this for too long.

4. It took me a while
I've never played a game like that before (I'm relatively new to the 3d console gaming world), so I had to get a grip on when to switch characters, etc.

FWIW, I'm about to return LOTR: ROTK because of the cut scenes. Sorry, I'm not interested in literally 5 minutes of cutscene between every level that CAN'T BE SKIPPED. Oy!

5. I hate that
I hate it when you can't skip the cutscenes.

Legends looked cool, and it got pretty good reviews. I didn't think the game was totally horrible, just not very interesting.

Plus, I knew the sooner I sent it back, the sooner I'd get Republic Commando.

I'm really a lot more into online gaming now, so these "offline" games have a hard time holding my interest.

6. My biggest problem
with XML is that you fairly quickly settled on the same 4 or 5 characters, to the exclusion of the others.

They provide you with 17 X-Men to pick from, and most of them aren't worth the time.

For X2, they need to design levels that call for specific skills, so you have to use different X-Men.
