I love BF1942. I can't figure why COD, MOHAA get more and better press than BF. BF has re-playability for days and includes a level editor so anyone can make a map. I quit playing those other games a long time ago, I'm STILL playing BF1942, and anxiously awaiting BF2.

4. CoD and the DoD mod for HL

BF1942 seemed to "arcade-like" too me from the demo. MoH, IMHO, really sucked, plus the goddam SafeDisk (or whatever it is) really f-ed things up for me ... couldn't install SpearHead on my PC, had to play it on my laptop, then had other problems.

Call of Duty is the best, hands down. United Offensive is a terrific add-in, even if it is a bit too short. I really love the new MP Base game-type. I've been addicted to that the past couple of weeks.

Day of Defeat is still my favorite, but I've given it up for personal reasons ... mainly, that I miss my old clan. :(

It's not a game for people with ADD or ADHD. Oddly enough, I've been on the winning side of every map I've participated in there, though that's only three so far. Purely a coincidence, I'm sure.
