Poll question: Best Bioware D&D cRPG
After playing through Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark for the third time (Valen is my RPG husband :P), I got to thinking that as good as it was, Planescape:Torment was the best cRPG ever made (I would say the Baldur's Gate Trilogy, but it has one thing going against it, and that's how incredibly rushed and contrived Throne of Bhaal was). I wanted to see what other people thought.

Note that I'm not including Demon Stone/BG: Dark Alliance in this poll because they're console games and more like a Secret of Mana/Gauntlet type RPGs, and I'm talking about the PC ones. And in fairness to NWN I split up the expansions because they are really three different games (two of which actually don't suck ass).

1. Didn't Black Isle make Torment and the Icewind Dale games?

They used the Infinity Engine, but other than that I don't think Bioware had much to do with them.

Definitely agree about Torment, btw.

4. I think.
I just say Bioware 'cause it's easier.

I liked Icewind Dale just because you could actually play subraces (*cough*DROW*cough*), but it was left lacking in the plot department. I also hated the graphics because, let's face it, Icewind Dale is kinda desolate and it's not the most...scenic place for a game.

I'd kill for a game set on Evermeet, but I'm a crazy elf fan. :)

2. I have all the Baldur's Gate games
even the PS2 ones....but haven't played a single one yet  They look great but I never finish RPGs (well ok,I finished Golden Sun on the Gameboy Advance SP...does that count? :) ).

The guide book for NWN is thicker than a bible...and probably more fun to read!
