So I'm thinking of studying Rosicrucianism

I'm just guessing that some of you must have or have had experiences with this. And I'm not sure what my question is but, what are your experiences? Pro? Con? Do you just study or do you go to a "lodge", etc? Thinking of cross-posting this in Astrology, Spirituality & Alternative Healing. Thanks. :)

I have no personal/academic experience with Rosicrucianism, but I think that study of all such subjects is good.
Even if you find that it is not for you, the mere fact that you studied it could aide you in other studies later on. It could give you a whole new perspective with which to view things and that alone ought to be worth it.

That said, may you have luck in battle/studies.

3. I am a Rosicrucian Student of AMORC

I have been a member since 1982, although I decided to try several other paths along the way, I returned to my AMORC affiliation in 2009. I am very glad that I did.

I study metaphysics, alchemy, philosophy, healing and health, and how to awaken my psychic centers which are different than chakras, although some are related to them. I love the experiments that we conduct both at home and within the Affiliated Bodies. Some of the experiments are scientific in nature. They explain concepts about Spirituality that relates to the scientific principles within the Realm of Cosmic Consciousness.

Going to an AB allows me the extra benefit of learning from others and the discourses presented during our Convocations are different from your home studies.

I have found through their studies that I understand the principles about the Law of Nature, how to understand my place in the universe. It offers me the opportunity to grow both mentally and spiritually. The development of self is very important to me, and AMORC has provided me with the answers I have always known about, however, the way they explain Natural Law and Spirit, and the Soul Personality within each of us, makes it understandable even for someone like me ;=} It is extremely easy to comprehend once you delve into the studies.


Through their studies I have discovered so much about myself and human conditions and behavior.

As of right now, my duties within AMORC are as serving as the "Master" within the Pronaos. I have really enjoyed playing my part within my local AB. I am also a member of the Lodge in another county, I try making it over there whenever I can.

Our Pronaos just had our first Mystical Workshop and had the pleasure of having Frater Ed Lee come and be our guest. His focus was entirely about how to concentrate which is VERY important for those of us on the Mystical Path. He was responsible for conducting our Rosicrucian Vowel Sounds within the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid of Khufu back in the 70's.

AMORC has gone hi tech and you can receive their monographs (lessons) for $15 a month, which in turn gives you access to joining an Affiliated Body if you so choose to do so.
