Wife Swap: pro-war family/pro-peace family
Tonight on ABC 10 ET/9 CT.

Pro-Iraqi war military mom switches families with liberal peace activist mom.

I watch this show regularly. Sometimes positive things come out of it, sometimes it gets nasty.

Very curious to see how this episode turns out tonight.

1. Here is more about this from FNVW
(Friends for a Non-Violent Word is a Twin Cities non-profit. http://www.fnvw.org/)

FNVW Member and Peacemaker on ABC's "Wife Swap"

Check local listings

Mina Leierwood, FNVW member, peacemaker and daughter of Frank and Raquel
Wood of Prospect Hill Friends Meeting, will appear on the ABC reality show
"Wife Swap" tomorrow night at 9pm Central.

The situation: peace mom replacing the mother of a Kentucky military family
based near Fort Knox and military mom fitting in to Twin Cities peace
community.

Don't miss it! Below is a teaser from Mina herself...

Dear Friends,

In case you don't know, our episode of Wife Swap will air on Wednesday, Mar
2, ABC, 9 pm central. Want more info? Go to Leierwood.com.

I just saw the upcoming Wife Swap episode yesterday, and I'm happy with it.
The good news is that the peace vs. war positions are drawn really clearly,
and ultimately, that is what this is about. I think they were kind to me,
representing me as more level headed and less kooky than I am. My son Dan
was the most radical and extreme of the bunch. My husband and Avram play
minor roles, because they were less confrontational. Also guest appearances
by Ralph Hilgendorf, Jan Elftmann, June Moon, Randy Schutt, Coffee John and
other Peaceniks.

Spread the word - peaceniks don't often get this kind of primetime airplay!

Blessed be, mina ++++

4. I like the way the Leierwood family was portrayed
The parents came across as intelligent and level headed. From oberving Greg and Cheri's give and take it appears Greg's positions are well thought. Surprise! That's what one would expect from a critical thinker.

The oldest boy Danny appeared on screen to be crass and combative, but I would chalk that up to teenage rebellion more than anything else.

All in all, I'd say everyone in this episode came across as likable, unlike some of the other episodes I've seen from this show.

I was reading the "other" message board and someone posted this link to an article. It seems in the end everyone gets along well and stays in touch. Get past the politics and such and we're just people underneath.

3. I watch regularly as well
I hope good things come from tonight's show.

The one that aired a couple of weeks ago with the lesbian couple brought me to tears. I was so sad and angry about how that hateful, despicable woman treated the lesbian family.

Keeping my fingers crossed for tonight's peace family.
