Survivor Gabon - Episode 5
Well, even though my girl Jackie was ousted last week, I am still here to do my thing.

Another year of good tribe bad tribe. FAng sucks and Kota rules. Fang can't eat and at Kota its a fish fry as Bob and Marcus catch a few fish big enough to eat them. Meanwhile at Fang, they find out the reason they have no fish is the giant elephants that eat them. Man, if this waws outback and Michael was aroundm, it would be elephant burgers all around.

On to the challenges. Blah blah blah, Kota kicks as in the fruit toss game. Sugar gets another reward in the Sugar Shack. Meanwhile back home, GC tries to let everyone know that they are goign to die next week when they run out of rice, but he gets shot down. So he leaves before the IC and almost misses the challenge. At the challenge, surprise surprise, Ace and Sugar combine to fuck up big time. He is a block, not reaching or trying to find the balls on his own, plus he listens to the other tribes instructions. Sugar can hardly be heard at all. Meanwhile, Dan and Randy are so good they block their own balls. Even though they almost shoot themselves in the foot, Kopta wins again.

Sp the decision is who to vote out,. Idol holding Sugar, or bitching GC. Of course they go through sugar's bagf and find the idol, so they know that the idol is there. Overrall, they made the right call. GC is an idiot and needed to go. His attitude was poor and his anger was growing, so its good that he said good-bye.

1. Thank goodness!
I'm so glad GC is gone. I thought he had a terrible attitude, and given how hard others have fought to stay in the game, and how much they wanted to be there, I have no respect for quitters like GC. Good riddance.

I can't decide of Ace and Sugar were screwing up on purpose or not. Their little tiff during seemed a bit staged. However, it's clear from the bag discussion at tribal that very little goes on at camp that everyone doesn't know about, so I'm not sure Ace and Sugar could've pulled that off without others knowing. It does, however, put them in a stronger position, and was well played if they did plan it. They were able to engineer a loss when a member of the group that outnumbered them was talking about leaving. Smart move. Engineering a loss is always a big, risky move, but I hope they did. Ace and Sugar may be playing a very interesting game. We'll see if that blows up for Ace next week or not. :)

4. I never thought they threw it
I wonder if they did. Its a brilliant acting job, and a good idea, if they did it. Ace is playign the game well. Pissing off people, but performing at challanges, I think he will be around for a little while more. Whiel I hate him, he makes teh show fun.

2. GC was an idiot
He was good for some comic relief at times. I especially liked when he volunteered to be tribe leader then looked petrified once the other tribe members agreed! Then backed out after a day.

I also noticed Ace listening to Randy during the challenge. I couldn't figure it out, he's never been in a tribe with Randy and yet he believes Randy is helping him? I don't know if he was just confused by whose voice it was or what. I was starting to really like Sugar but after that challenge I just thought "dumb blonde". Grrr! (oh, and I can say dumb blonde because I am a blonde! :D)

It always annoys me when tribe members go through other people's belongings. I don't know if it adds more suspense when the other tribe members know Sugar (or Yau-man or whoever) has the idol or not. I know I wouldn't want people going through my stuff. Yet, if Sugar carries her things around then they would really suspect. I guess the only solution is find a place to bury it. However, that leads to the problem of burying it without raising suspicion as to what you are doing or people finding it plus the problem of getting the idol again before tribal.

Maybe I've just spent too much time thinking about this whole hidden immunity idol thing. I'm glad they got rid of GC. Having a tribe member that doesn't want to be there has to be disheartening for the whole tribe.

5. I agree
I hate it when they go through someone's bag. Its such low class play. Even since Jerri did it in outback to oust Kel with the jerky comment, I have hated it. They should make it a rule violation.

3. Well, I'm out!
I have a knack for picking those who will leave for medical reasons or those, apparently, who want to leave. Maybe I should forget my first choice every time.

GC didn't play very well. It appears he was overcome by the harshness of the game - physically and emotionally.

I thought the group would get rid of Sugar when she didn't expect it. But that was almost set up for us by the producers.

I can't seem to get excited about anyone yet. Randy might be smart but I fear he'll stand out too much as a threat and get voted off before too long. (But as previously noted, I'm lousy at picking these things.) :)

6. Its so hard to pick in this game.
I am so bad at it. I really thought I had a winner this time, then she goes in the third week. Oh well. Its fun to play.
