And that Hartmann thing about the GOP wanting Kerry is categorically false. As anyone with a brain and a memory can see, the MSM practically whored for Dean prior to the Iowa caucuses. Kerry's victory was seen as a come-from-behind upset against the cherry-picked favorite, Dean (despite the fact that the media overstated his popularity among Iowans and understated Kerry's).

Again Deaniacs are willing to demonstrate that facts simply get in the way of their fantasy that Dean would've trounced Bush by 400 electoral votes.

NOTE: this post is not against Dean so much as his more rabid followers, who I do believe were a good amount of the reason that he did so poorly. They are arrogant, condescending, and belligerent, and facts to them are, at best, conveniences, and at worst, irrelevant. Until they do some soul-searching and realize that they are offputting to the vast majority of the country, they will continue to perpetuate harm to every liberal cause they touch. Of course, I don't see that day of epiphany coming any too soon.
