Did you guys get this email from Reid? MY Senator is matching donations, wohoo!
I particularly like the "American people deserve more" and Rove's Playbook, of distract, distort and divide.

I have never, in all my years of public service, been more disappointed with the direction of our country. When Lewis Libby was indicted last week, it underscored how the Bush White House refuses to come clean with the American people, let alone a federal grand jury. Worse, their incompetence in the basic duties of governance makes clear the need to change the balance of power in Washington.
The American people deserve more than this.
The 2006 mid-term elections will be our next opportunity to change the environment of corruption and incompetence in Washington. We simply must take back the Senate so we can change the direction in which our country is heading. The best way you can help with that effort is to support the DSCC today. I am working constantly to make sure the DSCC can recruit the best candidates and provide them with the resources they need to win, but I cannot do it alone.
Last week, the Vice President's Chief of Staff, Lewis Libby, was indicted over his role in the effort to discredit anyone who dared to challenge the drumbeat to war. Senior Republicans in both houses of Congress are under criminal and civil investigations. The man in charge of White House contracting was led away in handcuffs.
These are the same individuals who led us into an intractable war after manufacturing and manipulating intelligence, yet have no plan for success in Iraq. Their idea of dealing with an economy strained by paying $3 a gallon at the gas pump was to pass an energy bill filled with corporate giveaways for oil companies already reporting record-setting profits. And this week, they followed the Karl Rove playbook of distract, distort, and divide to choose a potentially divisive Supreme Court nominee to deflect attention away from their current problems.
The American people deserve more than this.
Senate Democrats are ready to take on the challenges facing our nation, but first, we have to elect a Democratic majority so we have the power necessary to enact change. To help our campaign to take back the Senate succeed, the DSCC has set a goal to raise $365,000 by midnight on November 7, the day that marks exactly one year before the election. We'll use this money to kick-off our year-long drive to change the balance of power in 2006. I have traveled around the country to raise money for the DSCC, and today, I am asking for your help. Please make a contribution today.
Click here to make a secure contribution of $50, $75, or more. If you give by November 7, Sen. Ron Wyden will personally match your contribution dollar-for-dollar, effectively doubling your gift.
(That’s MY Senator, GO RON!)
It's time for our nation to change course. The best way we can do that is to elect a Democratic Senate that can put a stop to the right-wing agenda championed by George Bush and the rubber-stamp Republicans in Congress. Only a Democratic Senate will change the debate in America to find solutions to the security and economic issues Americans truly care about. The American people deserve nothing less.
I can only do so much on my own. We simply can't take back the Senate in 2006 without your support. Please make a contribution today.
