I'm fucked, man.
California budget cuts have left me without a counselor as of June 30th, at a time when things have been getting very bad.

There's nothing to say, really. I just feel this overwhelming feeling of "no one gives a damn." I'm not sure I care, either.

3. I would imagine there aren't any free counselling services in your town, either?
I work in human services, and unfortunately everything is getting slashed. Sadly one of the first things they cut is mental health, too.

I hope you can find someone to see you after June 30 Ladyhawk. You deserve some good things in your life.

7. Do they have any counselors that take payments on a sliding scale?
I know when i went to counseling for the first time back in the 90's that's how it worked. It was basically a 15 dollar fee each visit. I couldn't afford to go every week, but I did get in a couple visits per month, which was better than nothing at the time.

8. The government bailed out the big companies and cut my disability.

Gross allowance = $870

The message I've been getting loud and clear now for many years is simply this: NOBODY CARES. I'm sick of people telling me to turn my frown upside down, to "make lemonade," to see the glass as half full, to see the light at the end of the tunnel. (And yeah, I've thought about the old yarn about it being a train. I think that's probably closer to the truth.)

I fucking give up.

Hope is a poison.
