Who's finished the book and what did you think?

1. No, Damnit!
It's 10:20 am and I'm still waiting for UPS, wishing I'd just gone to the damned book store this morning to buy it. :grr:

Start a DEATHLY HALLOWS DISCUSSION: SPOILERS thread, though. I swear I won't look at it, just as I haven't read any news stories, etc..

If the damned thing isn't here by noon, I'll go to the store anyway. That's a 20 mile drive, one-way. No reason to start a book while I wait, I'm tired of trying to focus on chores. What's the holdup, UPS man?

Go ahead. Start your thread.

3. "Finished It"??!! I got it last night, got home at 1:00 AM, read 4 pages, and
fell asleep there on the sofa. What with Saturday errands, I didn't get to settle in with DH until 3 hours ago. What are you, a speed reader? I probably won't finish until late tonight or tomorrow morning!

4. It took me a Marathon 12 hours
From 1:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday. I read about 100 pages an hour when paying close attention, so that's about average for me. I've probably screwed up my sleep cycle for weeks, but it was worth it.

I could not put the freakin' thing down. It's a "Perils of Pauline" series of cliff-hangers, so I'd recommend starting it in the morning of a day for which you don't have a heckuva lot else planned.

5. Seven hours here.
Gotta let it digest for a bit before I read it again.

Feeling awfully smug... reserved it at the library as soon as I knew what the title was. Number 3 in the queue, and my local library bought about a dozen copies, so got mine today.

Just...:wow:
Was right in my surmise about Snape. :bounce:

JKR said there was gonna be two character deaths.
I beg to differ.:grr:
