1. thats a toughie...
The first has more color but the second has (what appears to be) a more "close up" feel to it, but almost no color.

I think if I were you I would try adding a light source to both and re-taking them... see if it adds any life and makes either a clear champion :-)

both taken at my mom's. That is 3 to 4 hours drive.

but if you fixed that scratch in heart of glass I might like it better.

Im a sucker for scratches, dust and noise.

These are both good. Since "heart of ice" has little color anyhoo... have you played with converting it to B&W??

The color and reflection in "heart of glass" is stunning. Tough pick. Like I said.. "flip a coin".
