Sunshine Cemetary
Old cemetary on Sunshine Canyon a friend and I went to today. It was really interesting, wish I could have stayed longer, but he was having allergy problems and it was about to rain. Here are a few pics.

1. Stones that old would be almost unreadable in this part
of Kentucky.

you and F. Gordon I am really missing CO. Its been a long while since I have been out there and you both are showing me how much stuff I miss when I am out there. Course I end up usually doing the family stuff though they are good at taking us here and there. Have you been to Nederland Ranch yet? I think that is the name of it, it was an old ranch and still had buildings and equipment there. It was pretty neat and beautiful.

3. Colorado has such great old cemeteries.
I was always struck by how many graves of little children there are out there.

4. Those are great
I have this "thing" for old cemeteries but try to keep it quiet. Don't want anyone to think I'm strange or anything.

We actually took Saturday off that day. First Saturday we didn't work since January. But we went to Ft. Collins. Took some flower snaps and I met this pro-photog I wanted to meet, grabbed a few Cinco snaps downtown but I would have rather gone on a cemetery crawl in the mountains.

Have you figured out that it is fog season yet? I was kicking myself in the the butt last week cause' I missed some incredible snaps having no camera. I'm guessing that Tuesday night next week "should" be another fog night. If you have a tripod head out around sunset to higher elevations... I'll be heading up that night down toward my end of the range. Course' I'm not a weather person... the conditions just seem right for another fog night IMO... but I might be waaaay off.

Promise I'll make it up your way soon. Things are winding down for us now and I'll have a lot more free time soon.
:hi:
