2. Yeah, we don't have to cruise to anywhere.
We're already here. :)

3. What a dramatic place.
It's hard to tell with web pictures if it's good enough for that cruise company. But it's worth a try.

4. There's snow in Whittier in the Summer?
:wtf: I would expect brush fires, but not snow! This climate change is something else!

Which part of town were you at when you took them, near Bellflower or Pico Rivera?

5. Oh, you are so bad...
Whittier, ALASKA, silly. :spank: I imagine the people in Whittier, California, might wish they had a little snow about now.

6. To sell to Carnival...
...you'd probably have to adjust the white balance so that the ship's hull was pure white (much like the "bridal gown problem" experienced by wedding photographers, that would be the deciding factor rather than the look of the scene as a whole) and boost the saturation to make the red and blue of the color scheme stand out more.

Something like this:

...which may not be what you intended the image to look like overall, but which would show off Carnival's "product" to best advantage.

7. I was more or less kidding about selling it to Carnival...
...but it did kind of look like the sort of postcard they might sell aboard ship.
