1. I understand the modern windmill (turbine)
but where is the "then?" :)

OK, it is only part of the old windmill. :D

3. Oh, I didn't realize what it was.
I guess I was expecting to see a wooden windmill. :) It's nice but I suggest trying to include more of the old windmill. It is sort of difficult to recognize the old windmill in the foreground. Or I may just be dense. ;)

4. I was standing ON the mill
nothing else in the way to get on the picture. And I wanted both windmills on my picture (and yes, I know the modern windmill isn't really a mill, I still call it that way :) )

This is the old mill in its whole beauty

and here is another partial shot

5. Man, that is a beautiful windmill
I think the second shot works better because it is easier to see the old mill.

7. I don't like the handrail in the second shot
That is why I lean to the first one, even though you can see the mill better in the second shot.

6. Love the idea.
I knew what the blades belonged to in the first so got it right off and love the shot. The second one is really good too and the idea is a bit easier to "get". Hard to pick a fav out of the two. I lean toward the first one though love the old windmill too.

8. Thank you
for an unknown reason I love the new wind turbines. I would love to take more pictures of it. Here are a couple I took last year. I think I posted them before.

And here is another old windmill from Öland :)

9. Great windmill pics MissH!
We have a lot of the turbine ones here, none of the old kind though, well, not that I know of anyway.

10. Thanks Simply
As said above I find those modern turbines fascinating as well. One day I will go and take more close up pics of them.
