1. Pretty! Are you down to about 9 hrs of daylight too?
Ugh. We changed the clocks back on Sat. eve. Thankfully it is lighter in the morning which makes it easier to roll out of bed by 7am, however, yesterday it was cloudy and the sun was starting to set by 3:30pm. It was totally dark by 5:30pm.

The sun charts a very low course across the sky now, compared to May/June when it rises high over my house by 11am. I have sunshine in my bedroom almost all afternoon now until at least mid-February (that is IF the sun comes out) The Demon loves it.

It's raining in the valleys today, but no doubt they are getting snow in the higher elevations. I need to go check Bergfex. :D Ski season has started, but I haven't been YET. ;)

3. The sun's coming over the mountains
around 10:00 a.m., maybe a little earlir, and it's dark around 5:00, I think. I haven't been paying a lot of attention, so it may be a little later than that. I don't know when we switch time. Usually, it's in October, but I guess they changed that whole daylight savings thing.

pretty late  We are at 47.82N,11.29E, as is Blain, WA (approx). I found this cool Lat/Lon tool that uses google maps: http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html

The only thing that comforts me in these dark days is: December 21st is the winter solstice, and from that point we add about 3-4 min of daylight per day. :D

Hang in there only about 7 more weeks and the days start to grow in length. That is a big psychological mood lifter for me!

(Interesting thing is, it's only been since my thryoid has been regulated that I've gotten the Fall blues, prior to that I hated spring and summer, too much light!! Go figure? I think it has to do with the pleasantness of the climate here as well, humid summers make me want to cocoon)
