First Friday Photos (April 09)
It's the first Friday of the month. Let's post some photos. Why? Why not?

No theme or anything. Just post 'em if you've got 'em.

These are some recently scanned film shots.

6. Backyard
that needs cleaned up. Played with panorama maker and autostitch just to see how they work. I used the same photos in a folder for both.

This one is from panorama maker.

This is from the free version of autostitch.

Zaiden, who also needs cleaned up and brushed.

Will take guesses as to how many pounds of fur come off him when I brush him. I bet he ends up looking like he lost at least 20 pounds.

11. CC, when we were in Nome my husband bought me a hat

at a craft fair made from the fur brushed out from sled dogs in the spring. The spinners in Cantwell, Alaska, combine the fur with wool for strength, 50-50, then the hat-maker in Chitina knits them into beautiful, warm hats with a flannel lining.

Here's the hat maker with some of her creations:

Here's my hat which I LOVE. I've never had a warmer hat. It feels like angora.

Do you know any spinners in Maryland? :)
