1. Beautiful place for a walk
Those are some gorgeous gardens. But you know which one is my favourite? The dandelion clocks. Slightly less pretentious than their more showy cousins. I like how they fade quietly into the distance.

2. Thanks, I had no idea that is what they are called. Dandelion clocks. They were
to the left of where I had parked my truck, in a nearby field. They fade off in the late light.

3. Dandelion clocks was a childhood name for them
I don't know what they're really called. We played this game where you blow the seeds off the "clock" and however many seeds are still stuck to it tells you what "time" it is. Probably not a very accurate timepiece.

4. Enchanting.
I can smell the flowers, feel the warm sunshine and grass under my bare feet, and the dandelions makes me want to sneeze. What a dreamy path to walk. Thanks for the trip!

9. Thank you, Mira.
 I've got the chills taking this one in, because I didn't want to point to a favorite, but #3 in your OP is my favorite. Something about the homes nestled in all that beauty is like a fairytale. Almost like they just naturally grew out of their surroundings with no harm done to nature. Just gorgeous.

6. Wow...great shots of the Indian Azaleas.
We had the same blooms 30 days ago, so now I know what garden zone you are in.

I love the black trunks of the dogwoods against the bright spring green.
The 3rd pic of the house is quintessentially Southern...can I borrow it to show friends who have never had the pleasure of living in the South?
And I want to walk down that ivy surrounded path.

Really good pics, lovely lights and shadow.

11. It takes a lot to make me miss my native South.
These did, vividly.

On the plus side, we'll be getting some of that wonderful color here, but it's still a ways off. When it arrives, I hope I can capture it half as well as you did here.

12. Encouragement with your gentle way is what empowers me to keep trying to find my "voice".
My voice is slumbering. It is one of decades of taking pictures. All of them welcome to those who care, and life giving to me.

Actually, my true slumber is the one of a painter.
It all connects.

13. If my comments help anything, I'm very glad.
I don't know what the gap is between what you see and what you bring back to share. I guess that's the gap photographers all struggle to close. Sometimes our cameras struggle too, of course, but mostly it's on us. From my seat in the gallery, I'd say all's well.
