I saw a Merlin this monring
never had seen one before... it was eating a baby bird of some kind right in the middle of my street... camera up, and he was gone

it is a small falcon-type bird which seems to be expanding its range into suburbs and cities

4. Love Merlins and their cousins the kestrels
I do not get to seem many. I'd love for more of them to take down a few of my starlings and cowbirds. I especially can't stand starlings, damn invasive species.

symptoms, which considering the plethora of cats in my house is kind of silly.
