Mormon Row Grand Teton NP
Abandoned barns with the Teton Mountain range as a backdrop. I think everyone has a picture like this from Grand Teton NP so I thought I would add my own.

2. Not often, maybe never, have I been able to welcome a person as new as you,
and you came bearing a wonderful gift.
So, welcome, hang around and find your way around a website full of topical news and interesting forums.

Your photo is nothing like any others of the Grand Tetons I've seen in the year I've been around. It's very special.
I like Lake Jenny, that's what I think of the most when I remember the Grand Tetons.
Well, there is the Silver Dollar Bar in Jackson Hole, and the line dancing...... with the silver lights studded saddle rotating above the dance floor, but I digress.

Thanks for coming in and posting this beautiful photo.

9. Did you hike around the lake to Rainbow Falls?
If not, you missed a wonderful experience.

14. Small world
My niece just started working for the Silver Dollar Bar! My husband and I will be visiting her and her new husband over Thanksgiving! Can't wait to see the place -- I haven't been to Jackson for 30 years or more. My fondest (?) memory is of getting snowed in on the pass and sleeping with a dear friend and his Harley in the back of his pickup truck! The next morning was stunningly beautiful!!

3. I have a thing for those mountains.
The Tetons are probably one of coolest places ever, I love it there.

6. wish I had a Teton pic
Well, I might have one somewhere in my cabinet, with my Yellowstone pics from a dozen years ago. This is a reminder that I have yet another place to go again.

Welcome!

8. Lovely.
I spent my summers at the foot of these mountains in Kelly. My Dad's ashes are scattered up the Gros Ventre at the hunting camp he used as a young child and as a adult until he was too old to make the trip.

The picture brought tears to my eyes when I saw it.

Thank you.

12. Thanks!
I'm glad you liked it so much. I wish I could have grown up out there, it's just so awe inspiring. Although I must admit growing up in Maine and getting to spend parts of the summer on the coast wasn't a horrible way to grow up either :)
