1. color for me
I think. I like the muted tones.

Just looks muddy in b/w

3. B/W
The green adds very little, and the b/w adds depth, dimension, perspective not even suspected in the color version.
That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it. (this time)

4. Hmmm...
Initially, I thought the colour one was better. The sporadic and varying shades of green drew my eye to the window. But the more I looked at it, I liked the B&W (sepia?) one more. As Mira mentions, it brings out the depth, dimension, and perspective more. It's the subtle things like the edges of the frame (especially the top), the side panels, the cracks area up top, etc. It had me looking at much more of the picture than just the glass. So, like Mira, I like the B&W one more.

5. Despite my fetish for black & white, this is a tough decision.
Just to sort of split the baby on it, I think the color version desaturated maybe 50% and bumping the contrast a little would be damn interesting to see, even if it fell short of the above.

You have two great versions already, though. Maybe further tinkering is uncalled for.

6. Color
Nothing is gained when you lose the color. The color one is gorgeous.

8. Now that I look at it with the fresh eye of a new day I agree...Color.
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to critique, with the usual straightforward kindness for which the photo group is renowned.

9. Tough call.
I much prefer the color in the glass. However, I like the way the b/w version brightens the interior a bit more. Just slightly brightening the interior of the color version (not necessarily to the level of the b/w version) would be about perfect.

However, if I have to pick one as is, I prefer the color version.

12. Color
The contrasts in the glass pop out a bit more in the color photo.

I love the composition and balance of curves and straight edges.
