Classically Autumn
Since I am back in Nashville, and sorta bored, it was off to Centennial Park again. More to save 'til next year.

1. The pose on that squirrel is classic in itself

2. No kidding - these are great shots. The squirrels ,
especially the last one, are simply bulls eyes. The second one is smelling something he needs to be vigilant about.

3. the secret is Centennial Park!
Centennial Park has all these landscaped trees. There is actually some sort of walking tour for trees. Honestly, it is weird looking at all these odd trees. Some have strange blooms, or beans, and huge leaves. Anyway, most of them aren't that tall, or, if they are, they have low branches, some going to the ground. There is one whole area with strange, shortish trees. I am sure I could learn a lot if I took the tree tour.

Anyway, the secret is that squirrels are often on these low branches. I don't know of a comparable place in Memphis.

Squirrel probably was sniffing ME.

4. The first squirrel
almost looks like he's ready to take a bow. Good catch!

The gargoyl is pretty cool too with its leafy framing.
