3. It's a wonderful thing.
:) We're going down to Seward Thursday for a four-hour whale-watching tour in Resurrection Bay. The gray whales are migrating through here now, so hopefully I'll get lucky. We should see some orcas and dolphins, in any event, sea lions, otters, etc. A little weather is moving in, but it shouldn't be too much of a hindrance. It's like spring showers.

6. Yes, it is.
The edges of the lagoon are all melted, but it's still pretty mushy in the middle.
