1. I like the black and white.
For some reason they bring back old memories. Never mind that I have never lived anywhere that had subways. :-) Probably from all those movies....

7. Or maybe a previous life!
I've seen sights in Europe that evoked a very personal sense of nostalgia for things I'd never experienced. Can't explain why.

But maybe you're right. Maybe it's the movies.

13. A previous life might explain why I feel so old.

14. I laughed, but I assure you it was with a lot of empathy
and not much humor. I think I understand just what you mean.

2. My dear JeffR!
Ooh, I like these...

You caught the motion perfectly. I can nearly hear them, feel them, taste them!

Thanks!

:hi:

3. Love the angle on the first one
and the vintage feel of it!

9. As subway lines here go, this one really is vintage.
There's a mayoral election coming up here soon and new subway lines are the talk o' the town once again. They'll never get built, but it does give the politicians something to blue-sky about every election cycle. If I could vote here, I think my choice would be "none of the above, thanks."

4. I love them both, but can't really decide which one I prefer. It's almost like
listening to expressions using two different tenses, somehow.

10. I like that metaphor.
Or simile. I can never remember which is which.

Thanks!

5. The second one looks almost like a model train!

11. Hadn't seen that, and now that you mention it, I can't see it any other way.
:)

6. What fun - with the
weight on the first one being so pronounced on the right, and then shifting to the left in the second one, to me they feel like they are moving.
Neat!

12. I'd claim I went for that effect on purpose
but I'd be lying.;-)
