More Autumn color

So where were these stairs when we had the contest?




This is a fountain I designed (remodeled, actually) for one of my clients.

1. Wow! You still have that kind

of color? Everything is brown, brown, brown here.

I really like the colors and composition of photo #1. Very serene, and I can almost smell those lovely leaves.

2. It's been a very strange autumn

We had sustained color in the vineyards for the first time in many years, and for some reason the trees and other vines (like the boston ivy pictured) are holding on in spite of the rains and early and hard (25°) frosts. It's been a glorious, albeit strange, autumn.

There is wonderful movement in that shot.
