An aborted idea - a Tuesday funny
I stepped on my porch, and a bottle with water had burst
Before I peeled the glass away from the frozen insides it looked like this

Then I set the glass to the side and thought the frozen water would maybe make a nice backdrop for a Christmas photo. So I put the icey shapes into the freezer until nightfall

Here is the best of the aborted idea, I'm laughing and thinking I should not post this, but what the hey.
and I DO like the other two photos, the first one, anyway.

1. When I see how lovely
ice can be, I almost wish I lived in a climate that had some once in a while. The first picture is really neat. And I like what you did with the ice in the last one.

2. Oh gawd Mira . . . how funny!
This coming from someone who still puts hail and snow in the freezer!

But . . . I really do like your first photo. The frozen water and the cracked jar certainly make for interesting patterns.

And I know you are not all that happy with your "holiday" photo, but I can see a nice holiday message added.

3. The first one
is definitely interesting, with the delicate patterns. Is that ice coming out of the top of the bottle ?

I absolutely love the last photo. I think it would make a lovely Christmas photo with what looks to be a poinsettia in the
background and the way the candles highlight the ice.

4. Don't encourage me KC - that last one looks
like afterbirth to me. (just between us)
Anyway - I see for the first time you are in MY STATE! Aren't we freezing our butts off!
I have to go out and rescue some more water bottles from bursting. If I have some extra time today, with is not likely, I might try to figure out what I could have done to improve the shots of ice-candles-poinsettias. The idea was good, the execution laughable to me.

I don't see that in the last photo at all. Maybe the background could be a little lighter, but I just love anything to do with the Christmas season.

Yep we aren't too far from each other and yes it is F R E E Z I N G here !!! The wind makes it even worse and now they
are saying more snow and ice coming in the morning. Ugh. And to think it's not even winter yet.

I guess I should be thankful that I don't live in Minneapolis or New York !

6. I smile at the complainers as a rule and say, in my best and mean Southern accent:
"Well, dear, and itn'it wunnerful we get to live in the South, no global warming here, just climate changes"
