1. Gorgeous
No ice or snow here. Sometimes I miss what I'm missing.

2. Your storms present
so much more compelling photo opportunities. It's just wet and dreary here. Perhaps, I should consider that a challenge and try to make wet, windy and gray look haalf as cool as your picutres do.

Really nice work.

4. Thanks. The ice is not as frightening this year. All the trees in our
neighborhood that were going to be destroyed by ice have been destroyed, so I can enjoy the ice now instead of mourning the loss of our trees.

The grey days are OK if you don't like contrast or shadows.

The Canon G10 has a pretty decent macro setting.

hard part.

I use in camera black and white. I could do the same in post processing, but I like shooting in black and white because it makes me think in black and white.

Still, color has its place.

7. Really nice series, alfredo.

Each of them holds a lot of interest.

Are you still using the G-10, or did you get another camera. The image quality on these is excellent to my, admittedly unprofessional, eye.

9. Yeah, still using the G10. It's pretty good in the right conditions.

I'm saving up my pennies to get a good mirror-less camera. I'm hoping Canon jumps into the mirror-less market because I have some Canon lenses.

12. The road crews took some of the white knuckle fun out of it, but some
drivers manage to demonstrate some laws of physics.

The sun came out today. I got a few images before sublimation shrinks them to nothing.

14. Thanks. I will be posting the last of the ice images. The
sun came out and that spells the end of my fun.
