Quick check in and a teaser

I was in the midst of NC family related travels and now, til Christmas, I am checking in to see lots of things in need of study, FABULOUS ice captures
FOR SURE and later I will do all that.
I have to drag into my workshop and finish a job that is due in the morning, it's one of the blessings and curses of the self employed that we work weird hours.

I have photos of a cat going nuts over a cat video.
Photos of an old Masonic Temple in disrepair but I got to photograph some of the guts.
Maybe an old train station, but they probably did not turn out, I was shivering, had only a minute, and it was dark to boot..
A marvelous walk through an antique and thrift shop to die for.
A re-visit in black and white of the heifers and bulls I showed you a few weeks back.

for now, let me show you that (as I said I would)
FOR THE FIRST TIME I took digital photos in b/w. I switched back and forth, if only to remember how it works, and also to make comparisons when I have the time to pick through the photos.

So, the teaser is the attached, some clever person (NOT ME) had set the Jesus into the lap of the Buddha, and I'm showing you a sample of my b/w and color tests.
