A TED talk with a photography content
It will take a bit to get to the photography content, but it is worth the wait.

1. When I saw the length of it I moved on. Curiosity brought me back.
What I found was a magnificent young woman who speaks like a poet, has hand movements like angel's wings, dresses like an artist, and by the time she started talking about her mother's darkroom ( a little after the 8th min.) she had me mesmerized.

Thanks, Alfredo, for this link. She is a jewel.

2. She seems to be a favorite with TED.
She has been a poet since the age of 14.

4. Her mentions of the darkroom brings back memories of
my time in the dark. I can still smell the chemicals.

5. Me too
I used to play in the dark in my father's darkroom. He would sometimes give me a negative, which I would place in a print box with Velox paper. Then I would sit outside where the sun exposed the print. Then back in the darkroom to develop the print and inhale the exquisite aroma of acidic acid. My father's finger nails were permanently stained brown. As an adult I never spent long enough in the darkroom to stain my nails, but I still have the print box.
