DU Artists I need your help......please

See the guy in my sig line? He's my best friend and an incredibly gifted artist. BUT - he thinks no one will be interested in his work. Why you ask? Becasue he specializes in drawing large women. He thinks most of the world views the larger form as ugly and will not appreciate the beauty of his work.

I say - Beautiful art is beautiful art. And believe me his art is beatiful.

Please - visit his web site and take a good long look at his work - then sign his BLOG. Tell him how gifted he is (he's all self taught too). We talked last night and I got so angry with his lack of realization of his gift I need to prove him wrong. LOL

Mr. Delecroix needs to be reminded that he's working in the tradition of some "greats" who also have celebrated the voluptuous female form: Rubens and Botero, to name a couple.

I'm an artist, sculptor, but collected art before I became an artist. I have in my collection 2 oil paintings by Branco Bahunek who is a Yugoslavian. He had a show in New York in the 80's at Brewster Gallery, which no longer exists. Anyway...he paints large women. I think there's definitely a market he just needs to find it.
