we are going to the Serpent Mound State park in Ohio next month

any good sights to check out birds near there? I was reading about an Appalachian birding trail of some sort...

Shawnee State Forest to the south east is a birding hot spot - tons of great birds, breeding warblers, etc.

I'm going there this weekend - always a fantastic trip. I usually end up with about 20 warblers!

Rocky Fork State Park is just to the north.

Heck, you could do pretty well just birding Serpent Mound.

You could also try Scioto Trail State Forest.
