I did.

I laid off for a couple of weeks. First it was icy roads and then a lot of rainy, grey days which had me dealing with SAD.

But today was sunny! :bounce:

:headbang:

I took Flvegan's advice and started with weights today. Upper body.

Then I went to the elliptical for 45 minutes.

Lastly, 15 minutes on the treadmill.

I spent over 500 calories in today's session. :woohoo:

1. I did
and today too. I was off Wednesday due to icy roads early on, though I did get some cardio by shoveling the ice off my driveway before work.

Kind of OT, but do you use a full spectrum light for SAD? I do and while it's not as good as the real thing, my 'happy light' keeps me from staying in bed all day.

2. I'm trying to find one that I like
I know it helps.

I have a full spectrum light in the bathroom. But I need one at my bedside, I think that stimulates sunrise. Dark days make me sleep in.

3. I'm fortunate enough to live 10 minutes from Sunbox Company

I have a dawn simulator that doesn't work anymore, but I seem to be OK with my Sunbox Jr. They no longer carry the one I have but they have others.

4. I love my dawn simulator lamp!
I've had it for over a year & it has made getting up in the winter so much easier! I set my 'dawn' for 30 minutes - the light starts coming on 30 minutes before the clock goes off. I'm usually awake 15 minutes before the clock goes off. I also like it during the night - I can increase the light level to just where I need it, not the full 75 watts.

I bought the $129 lamp featured on this page.
