First spring-like weekend here for this year. :bounce:
I packed a lunch and my book, then headed to Duke Gardens.
I walked Six (6) Miles today!! I can really feel the difference all that weightlifting and conditioning on the elliptical is doing. Hills that once caused me to slow to a crawl I now walk over fairly easily, only really slowed down toward the end. My thighs and hamstrings took it in stride. :-)
My goal is to be able to regularly take weekend hikes of about 8 miles this summer.
