Sunday, 03/08/2009 - Daily Workout
Whew!

First spring-like weekend here for this year. :bounce:

I packed a lunch and my book, then headed to Duke Gardens.

I walked Six (6) Miles today!! I can really feel the difference all that weightlifting and conditioning on the elliptical is doing. Hills that once caused me to slow to a crawl I now walk over fairly easily, only really slowed down toward the end. My thighs and hamstrings took it in stride. :-)

My goal is to be able to regularly take weekend hikes of about 8 miles this summer.

I did step this weekend and went for hikes and I did some work in the yard.

3. I love working in the yard/gardening.
It's part of the reason I'm in better shape in warm weather.
