1. glad to see you turn up
after seeing the news reports about the storms in the midwest. Did you catch any hail?

I was hoping Delay would stay in the race longer, as Nick Lampson was doing so well against him. Hopefully, adding a new face to the race after the primary will put the newcomer at a significant disadvantage, but I'm worried about that.

5. not having the special election may end up being for the best
Lampson won't have to spend money campaigning for that and some people are going to be torqued that they don't have a representative for six months. I don't think the stench of Delay is going to die down appreciably between now and November. I also suspect pictures from that rally where the woman was assaulted might re-surface in late October. ;-)
