from dream team to bad dream

So far, Obama's support had come from the RED States..

Hillary is strongest with her Democratic base in the Blue States.

McCain will take back all the red states in GE that have been won by Obama-conservatives and moderates will make sure to show up (the GOP machine will knock themselves out to get people to the polls) to vote for the least liberal of the 2, McCain (duh?!)...(if Barack is the nominee). The GOP WILL DO ANYTHING to scare people against an uber-liberal Barack presidency. Moderates in the GOP already know Hillary, and can wait it out for 4 years with Clinton and dump McCain FOR GOOD in the current GE.

So far-Obama has failed against Hillary in very populous blue states.

What do you have when it's all over and done? A McCain Presidency!

no thank you!

2. indeed, people are assuming that Obama can take
all the red states in the GE - I think they underestimate the attack power of the GOP machine and rabid dog McCain-he is one nasty guy when he gets going.

3. and The Governator here in CA is so pro-McCain, a state
that Hillary won in the primary, but unless there is massive Dem turnout in GE and all those that voted for Hillary vote for Obama-who knows? Her hispanic and woman base is very strong-very, very loyal. Immigration is (obviously) a real big deal here and this group hardly knows who Obama is-they know McCain more than Obama because of Schwarzeneggar. Uber liberal Berkeley may know Obama well, but LA is massive and diverse compared to tiny Berkeley, Ca. and even SF. Also, another factor in CA is the gay community, they are staunchly for Hillary-large groups in LA and SF - they don't really know what Obama will do or not do for them--NY is similar to CA and those states have lots of delegates-especially CA.
Obama needs to work the Blue States-the big ones, he just cannot assume the GE is all sewn up for him in those states. I am a native of CA and I have lived in both NY and CA and Obama has alot of work to do to make his case in both those big blue states.

4. What is this talking point that Obama is winning the red states?
It makes NO sense to me at all.

He is running against Hillary, not McCain - so it means nothing.
If he didn't get the votes, than Hillary would get it. Red and Blue states only matter in the GE.

And if he beats Hillary in a red state, that doesn't mean the state is going to go to him in the GE.

It's such a silly argument, yet the msm is all over it.

I worry about him in the GE. He hasn't shown me that he has what it takes to win.
I think about that debate when Hillary and O were going at it. I think that was the moment I knew I was a Hillary girl.
She is so feisty and quick thinking. I don't see that coming from O.
