The title of this thread is the one MSN used for its link to the piece.

One of the yuckiest installments from Prudence I've seen in awhile. One of the nastier links offered up about dating and relationships on MSN lately. Love the immediate characterization of the 23 year old female spouse as "immature," while the 30 year old male spouse, who may have been an abuser, an asshole, or a terrible partner is deemed the one who must not have done anything wrong. Assholes.

1. Yeah, wives are forever running off for no good reason, aren't they?

Good men are hard enough to find that no sane woman who has found one whom she also loves is going to run off. Period.

3. It's funny, the verbiage
Wives "run off" or "run away" while husbands usually "leave" or "abandon". Women are only said to abandon if there are children involved, i.e., she abandoned her family. Don't really know why that is but I just thought of that when I read this.
