We used Auritron service to pay off our credit cards. We are completely free of credit card debt
for a month now, get ALL KINDS of "amazing" offers in the daily mail
("This is the one you've been waiting for" came yesterday.....)

We have only the Visa attached to our credit union account, and one store card from Lowe's - they sell pellets for our wood stove, gardening stuff and bird seed for our backyard feeders, plus some of my art materials.

It's great to be able to keep our money or spend it as we see fit.
(Our pay-off was under $200/month.)
They were a good company for us, even sent us a letter of congratulations when we were through.

2. Autiton Solutions - a debe counselling company.
They were very honest, helped us pay off 6 maxed cards with NO grief for $208/month, $20 their fee included.

They were great.

3. That's because they're a non-profit organization. That's the only kind
of debt counseling service anyone should use.

4. Non-profit is a good start
but read recent study stating that many debt-counseling agencies are now touting themselves as non-profit, and may not be the be qualified resources. I recommend using accredited agencies through nfcc.org.

6. Consider posting this in the Economy forum
because a lot of people there would like to know how to get out from under the most efficient way possible, and news of an honest company among so many scams would be welcome.

Nothing feels better than getting out from under. Congratulations!
