2. don't be so hard on yourself, doug
it's said an airplane needs 2 wings to 'go someplace' other then around in circles: Jimmy Carter warned the American people ptrecisely about a problem (the childish insistance upon a wasteful, ignorant lifestyle) that 25 years ago could have been addressed systematically with considerable less trauma then must happen when it appears in front of us as an unbridgeable abyss, which we will see fairly soon. Yet Doug includes Carter among the failed presidents; forgetting Carter was the guy who cleaned up after nixon and ford, and having less then 4 years to do it. Doug also overlooks the prostitution of the mass media, after the repukes 'privitised' the news/info industry by hacking away for 2 generations at the left wing of aeroplane america! And the fact is, it appears most americans AT BEST find bush flawed not because he's a murdering lying thug who schemed to defraud them, but because his actions have hurt them personally somehow, and to tell the truth, if there's anything to be said for bush, it's that he's led the boorish rightwing gadarene swine over the cliff! klol! So Doug, stand proud of supporting old geeb (brother of john ellis bush, or 'jeb'), regardless of how wrong it might appear. Appearances can be changed, history can be rewritten, the old memory hole awaits all rightwinger 'mishtakes', all news is foxnews, and there's clinton still to blame - hell, president rush limbah-humbug won't make the mishtakes geeb has, rest assured, and limbah-humbug's soon to be presidency needs this one to end successfully, so stand tall Doug!

3. It's a con
It's the latest spin from rethugs.

Here's what he really saying.

"We hate bush now, just like you. bush broke the country.

Sure, it was with our help, but lets forget about that.

Why?

Because otherwise you'll vote for the democrats. And all democrats are traitors.

Democrats aren't traitors?

Sure, but if you don't pretend they are traitors, then you'll vote for them and they will really try to fix what bush broke.

And we can't have that.

So just pretend we didn't help bush break the country, that democrats are traitors and vote for us bush-hating rethugs."
