He keeps working on the prosthetics (perhaps to keep up with Bush's descent into decrepitude?). I have to admit, it's quite the technical accomplishment, making their version of Bush appear, not only lifelike, but less smarmy than the actual guy. (My cousin works in Hollywood, and he says not many people are able to sculpt and paint like this.) Keep in mind that everything you can see of Bridges, except for his teeth and eyes/eyelids, is fake! They could have used contacts and dental inserts if they wanted to, but it probably wasn't worth the extra hassle. (Bush, on the other hand, is 100% phony.)
If you look closely at Bridges -- his eyes are a bit further apart than Bush's are (not much he can do about that, though). And after the prosthetics, his chin is a bit longer ... this is probably why he tends to tilt his head forward when he's looking into the camera (the foreshortening makes the resemblance stronger).
http://www.ppi.cc/ppi_players/kevin_haney2.htmPersonally I think that focusing too much on the external appearance can undermine a really memorable impression. Bridges isn't too bad as an actor (he has the movement and voice copied pretty well, better than most other Bush impersonators who just happen to resemble him. But by presenting a cutesy version of Dubya, he's missed out on some of the depths (and I do mean depths) of the character. Will Ferrell and even Jon Stewart (who doesn't even use makeup) have that snickering, mean-spirited side of Bush down perfectly.
