I was cleaning out clothes for Goodwill..and still have my Kerry/Edwards
bright red T-Shirt that I wore when I knocked on doors in Campaign 2004.

I really had to bury it under stuff in my closet because it was too painful to look at...but it turned up in my "Spring Cleaning."

Should I hold onto it? Do you think that it will be "Kerry/Edwards" Redux?

Lots of interest here on DU in doing a rematch and figuring that this time we can really pull it off.

Most of me wants to throw it in the Garbage, though. :-(

1. If you feel betrayed, trash it. Better yet, give it to charity.
If you don't feel betrayed, hang on to it. If we manage to clean Washington of all the trash, that shirt may be a real badge of honor in the future, a way to tell everyone you were right and they were wrong.

Plus, an antiques auction 50 years down the line may reward your offspring for it.

25. lol's ....but you may be correct. A collectors item which points back to
a Crime. In that Bush stole not one but two elections.

Maybe I will hang on to it. I'm a pack rat, anyway. But, it depressed me to look at it. Thanks for another point of view. :D

Kerry/Edwards...just that it still frustrates me...whereas Gore has moved on and I needed to, also.

6. The rule is that if you haven't worn something in a year
you should get rid of it.

Keepsakes are nice to have but think of how much good you could do by donating it to someone who doesn't have any nice shirts at all.

months ago. I live in Waikiki, and when I go for walks, tourists from all over get my anti-Bush message.:bounce:

in my state. And, it looks like they've been recently applied...

Verified Paper Ballot Advocates....sadly....I took mine off I was so upset...and it tore it up in frustration.

21. I take it as a sign of fellow Believers that Election 2004 was STOLEN
Edited on Sun May-07-06 09:54 PM by KoKo01
like Selection 2000. I love seeing them. As I said in a post "upthread" I sadly shredded mine a month after the election because I was so torn up about it.

Like 2000 I figured they'd find out that Kerry/Edwards really won...:-(.

27. Follow your instincts.
I saved all my campaign materials in a box for posterity.

The 2004 election could one day be significant historical turning point: The day the U.S. turned to the dark side.

At the very least, it's an important part of my personal history because I invested so much of myself to saving the planet.
