The Conservative Lament to the Bush Administration
Edited on Tue May-09-06 08:40 PM by louis c
First, the Bush Administration came after the Liberals (social attack on minorities, destruction of the environment and tax cuts for the rich) but I was not a liberal and I did not speak out.

Then they came after the Unions(dismantling of OSHA, international trade policies and a hostile Dept. of Labor), but I was not a Unionist so I did not speak out.

Then they came after the Moderates(Illegal War in Iraq, deficit spending and $3.00 a gallon gas) but I was not a Moderate so I did not speak out.

Then they came after the Conservatives (Dubai Port Deal, biggest government spending in history, spying on the citizen boarder patrol) so now I guess it's time for me to speak out.

PS: My apologies Martin Niemoller

PSS: Sarcasm intended

4. Thanks
There is only one way to get Bush into the twenty percent approval group, and that's to have his base abandon him.

He's doing it.

By the way, there is an old political adage: "If your opponent is committing political suicide, leave him alone".
