Anyone watch Medium tonight?? Not a spoiler.
They featured a new song by the Dixie Chicks and at the end of the show NBC gave info on how to order the song!! Sort of surprizing.

6. It's probably partly Patricia Arquette's doing.
She's a good Liberal.

9. So is the guy who plays the husband.
He was in Silver City.

But Kelsey Grammer is the executive producer, and a big repuke. Maybe he does not try to exert total control over the show. Maybe he sympathizes with the Dixie Chicks. But given Grammer's role in the show, I was a bit surprised.

10. I think Kelsey has changed his affiliation to Libertarian.
His beef is not having too much government controlling his life. Considering his past with drugs and strippers, he really is not a conservative.

8. NBC and Sony are greasing each other up, that's all.
Edited on Mon May-22-06 10:26 PM by greyl
"The future of NBC Uni within the General Electric family hinges on management's ability to makes its premier television and film assets relevant and profitable in a global digital broadband marketplace where customized snippets, downloads and interactivity on portable and wireless entertainment devices are media and entertainment's new frontier.
Amid negotiations to advance its new-media fortunes with the likes of Comcast Corp., Yahoo! and Sony, NBC Uni is strapped for the first time in a decade with rebuilding the NBC primetime schedule, a primary wellspring of content in the brave new world of on-demand, go-anywhere news and entertainment."

I think it sucks that the album is advertised on a tv show based on a fraud, and I hope it says more about corporate profits than it does about the Dixie Chicks.

13. They don't usually give you info. on how to order the music though.
I think that they are trying to help out the Dixie Chicks by this.

14. You think it's altruism, eh? With NBC and Sony?
I presume you also believe Allison DuBois is psychic?

Unrelated to the fact that she's a fraud, but relevant:
"I thought Patricia was too liberal," admits the Arizona-based DuBois. "I mean, I have a gun, I have put people on death row. I wanted to make sure that was something that didn't bother her. But she assured me that she believed some people may have that coming."
